Vacation in the East October 2010

The Burlington phase 5-10 October:

We took the train to Burlington.
Where Davis and Stephanie put us up.
Milkweed and other foliage outside their house.
Lunch and shopping - apples!
Followed by a trip to the Old Spokes Home, where Glen told us about his extraordinary collection of old bicycles!
The next day, we had lunch at Leunig's, followed by a drive to some islands north of Burlington where we visited a small stream.
Friday, we ate breakfast at Penny Clause. After which we visited Shelburne Farms, a toy of the Vanderbilt's.
Saturday, we bade farewell to Stephanie who was off to Denver for a meeting.
Then Susan and I drove south to a quarry. Where we met Jesus.
On the way back, we tried to drive to Stowe but the traffic was so bad, we bailed and visited a very nice little county park.
