The Manhattan phase 1-4 October:

• 2 snaps from the plane on the way in.
• Dan gave us an amazing tour of the Metropolitan Museum. After which Laura and Susan got caught up.
• We walked to Elena and Alan's place. Saw a picturesque firestation and chandelier stores on the way.
• I hadn't seen Elena and Alan since 1982. They live in an artist's loft on the Bowery. We had a splendid dinner!
• The next day, we caught a parade. Susan snapped 3 paraders...
• Peter and Mary Beth put us up in their swell Manhattan apartment. We went for a walk with them Sunday evening.
• Monday, we ate breakfast at the Choux Factory with MB. Then we walked all over Manhattan, ending up on the observation deck of the Empire State Building.
• The evening, we went to see Avenue Q with Peter and MB, but none of the snapshots turned out.
