Sam took off on a solo hike eary in the AM. Liz had bad bisters from her walk the day before.

After breakfast, we (Liz, Susan, Davis, and I) drove to the Moses Spring trailhead and walked. Liz was a trooper. I was a pooper - I quit after lunch within a few hundred yards of the top of the hill. But the walk back downhill was pleasant.

Back at camp, there was assorted wildlife: a green butterfly (really, it's in there somewhere!); quail; a woodpecker; and condors (really, those dots are condors!).
